May...and a Slow Return to Normal...

Well...I'm not comfortable with it yet, but the CDC says if you have had both doses of your vaccine you can neither catch nor spread Covid now and may be maskless both inside and out. 

Huge news as life slowly returns to something normal after more than year.

The numbers have dropped significantly...both here (USA) and abroad.

We are down nearly 25% and the overall vaccination rate is about 60%.

Here is where we are today...

 

World- 164,493,088 cases

                3,408,261 deaths

USA-      33,747,350 cases

                    600,548 deaths

Indiana-      735,999 cases

                      13,486 deaths

Putnam County-  3637 cases

                                 60 deaths

As bleak as these numbers are, and as many variants we are now battling, we seem to be winning the war.

Of course about 30% of Americans refuse to be vaccinated...their rights...fear of micro-chips...own the libs and all of that. Most of them have wandered around maskless throughout this plague.  The good news is that they are no longer the problem of the vaccinated. They are now just spreading the virus among their own ignorant ranks.

Some of them (2% last count) will not make it.

At this point it is Darwinian.
