In three days we will have our new President (Biden) sworn in and The Adults will finally return to the building.
What a cost the Trump Administration has wrought.
These are the Covid Numbers at this hour...
Worldwide Infections...over 95 Million
Worldwide Deaths...over 2 Million
Here in The States we have
Over 24 Million Infected
with 400,000 dead.
It is rampaging completely out of control, and we are seeing 4,000 deaths a day in the US, currently.
The vaccine roll-out has been excruciatingly slow and inefficient. 20,000 doses have just gone missing completely.
The good news is that in addition to Pfizer and Moderna...Johnson and Johnson is soon to make their vaccine available.
Instead of a two stage injection...this one is one and done.
I would very much like that.
Currently our county is funneling everyone through individual appointments at our single health department...which is pretty impossible.
Hoping Biden can implement a national response and mass injections.
Maybe utilize fairground sites or some such.
In the midst of this my friend, Priscilla, has recovered herself- but lost her husband of 46 years to Covid.
My youngest boy and his wife have it and are slowly getting better.
Three of his friends have it now.
My best friend and her entire family have it, in Tennessee.
It seems to be everywhere.
I'm still Covid-Free...but for how long???
