August...and Back to School

So Trump's last few rallies have been busts...and he is starting to see the
writing on the wall.

Big letters.

GO AWAY.

In a recent presser he even commented

"Nobody likes me."

Well, duh.

19 million have the virus worldwide now.

700,000+ are dead.

5 mllion of those are here, with 162,000 dead.

So last night he issued a statement

"Is is what it is."

Seriously?????

In the US we are seeing over 50,000 new cases a day and no less than 1,000 deaths a day.

I half expect the orange idiot to say how fantastic this is for the mortuary business...I kid you not.

In the midst of this insanity they are trying to send the children back to their classrooms (...ostensibly so mom and dad can return to work and the stock market will go WHEEEEE again...)

Narrator: Except it won't, of course.

Schools that have been open less than a week are starting to see cases..and having to do 14 day quarantines on both teachers and students.

Give it 2-3 weeks and I'd bet the rent that they will have to start closing down and switch everything to e-learning...you know...like they should have to begin with...

christ on a cracker

The stupidity can't be underestimated.

The sad part is all the people who are going to be infected by this along the way.

Some will die.

But the fact of the matter is that Covid-19 is so new that we really don't know what we don't know yet about it.

No idea of the long term effects.

Already scientists and health officials are seeing residual blood clots, organ/system failure, lung and heart damage in survivors.

5 years from now we have no clue.

But, sure, send your kids to class.

~sigh~

And the Sturgis Rally is soon.

They are expecting 250,000 Bikers.

Jesus Wept.

And Tump is melting down in front of all of us.

Who knew this presidenting stuff could be so hard, eh?

Except the other 44 of them who were his predecessors.

You know what I'm ready for?

Nice. slow, dependable, unflappable, listen to his advisers, truely decent empathetic compassionate Joe Biden.

Seriously.

They have scheduled 3 or 4 debates. I cannot wait.

Going to have to buy more popcorn.
