Today's the day we....

July 6, 2020

Order groceries via InstaCart...or treat ourselves to lunch with GrubHub (contactless delivery) or do laundry...

You get the point.

It is the first week of July.

Worldwide over 11 million infected and over a half a million dead.

(...yes...apparently it didn't just disappear...)

This is The New Normal...or maybe just NORMAL...because I've been doing
it so long that it is becoming easier now and certainly isn't new anymore.

Maybe it does all boil down to getting a routine established.

Anyway...easier is good.

The news on Covid-19 is it appears to be/have gone aerosol.

Yes.  That sucks.

Badly.

And because we are Americans there are over 30% of us screaming "my rights" and "you can't make me wear a mask" and America is NUMBER ONE!

Actually, that last part has a tiny bit of veracity as we are now number one both in infections (nearing 3 million in The States) and in Covid deaths (132,000 last count)

I'm not at all sure this was the direction they were heading with that.

Trump has been worse than useless the past few days...holding maskless rallies...proclaiming 99% will be fine.

Actually 8% of everyone who got Covid has died ...and many of the survivors are suffering blood clots or organ failure or horribly destroyed lungs...

But he is so done with this...over it...time to

"Learn to Live With It"

he exclaims.

Right...tell that to the 130,000 plus dead American Citizens.

Tell that to the half a million dead worldwide.

~sigh~

Only 120 days and we can vote him away.

Learn to Live Without Him.

And I am sooooooooooooooooooooo ready.

I have to give credit where credit is due...and our Governor of Indiana (R) has been very cautious on this whole re-opening thing.

We are one of the few states who have not spiked recently.

On the 9th, masks will become mandatory here.

Most of us have already been wearing them since March.

Conversely, the Governor of Florida has had 41,000 new cases in the last 4 days.

And they are having to close things down again.

Ditto with Texas.

It is going to be a long year.
