Alarming Jump...

This is the screen shot from last night.

Worldwide we have now broken 300,000 cases...and nearly 13,000 have died.

And that is horrible, as it is.

But now the US cases have also started to explode...from 19,000 to 25,000 in one day.

And this is just the beginning.

We haven't even started to peak.

In my state, we have 202 cases currently...an increase of 73 since yesterday.

And 5 deaths now.

And they have just started testing.

I have to admit I have been shaken...and maybe a little frozen in place for the past week.

Although I have watched this build...nothing can prepare you for the reality when the cases really start exploding.

Shelves are bare...toilet paper is now a hot commodity...milk...bread and eggs are scarce...and even meat has been bought up.

This is my 12th day of Self-Quarantine and I'm missing the kids, John, my friends, my grandkids...my life.

Sure, we chat online or the phone...but it's not the same.

You know what I miss the most?

Hugs.

Just great big warm hello hugs, and Grandma Rose hugs, and I love you so much hugs...and goodbye see you soon hugs.

When this mess is over...I'm just going to hug everybody.
